The Terrible Plop
This book is so darn cute.  It is for younger kids and so it shows courage so simply.  It shows kids that there are things that happen in the day or the night that aren't usually as scary as they might seem.  Recommended for ages 3-6 years old.

Courage
This one broke down all the different ways we can have courage.  It was so simple to follow and I loved all the different scenarios in the book.  Recommended for ages 4-7 years old.

Chick-O-Saurus Rex
This one shows courage in such a fun and simple way.  It was short and to the point.  My daughter loved this book so much.  Recommended for ages 4-8 years old.

If I Never Forever Endeavor
It was so cute to see how much my daughter loved this book.  Who knew that birds might be scared to fly.  My daughter thought that was crazy and now all birds are brave in her eyes.  Recommended for ages 4-8 years old.

Brave Irene
This story spoke to my daughter.  A snowstorm is something she would actually be afraid of.  So she thought Irene was amazing for battling the storm to save the day!  Recommended for ages 4-8 years old.

Wallace's Lists
This book spoke to ME.  Poor Wallace doesn't do ANYTHING that is not on his lists.  So when he had to do something to help a friend that was not on his list it took great courage.  That sounds just like little non-spontaneous me.  Recommended for ages 4-8 years old.

Mirette On The High Wire
I remember this book from when I was young.  I loved reading it with my daughter.  Mirette shows so much courage and even helps a friend have courage.  Isn't that the best kind of courage to have!? Recommended for ages 4-8 years old.

Secret of the Peaceful Warrior

Secret of the Peaceful Warrior: A Story About Courage and Love

This story is fantastic to show the correct way to stick up for yourself.  It is filled with wisdom.  Danny is the main character and he shows immense courage in this book.  I don't want to give it away, but I promise this is a book you won't regret reading to your kids.  Recommended for ages 4-10 years old.

Brave Charlotte and the Wolves
Charlotte is absolutely amazing in this book.  This is a great book about bullying and having courage.  It really is so darn cute!  Recommended for ages 5-8 years old.

Testing the Ice

Testing the Ice: A True Story About Jackie Robinson

This book was a little too advanced for my daughter, but I loved it and I kept it interesting for her.  It shows that parents have to have courage too.  Recommended for ages 7-10 years old.

Each time we would finish a book we would talk about it and every book we would finish I could see the wheels turning in her brain.  By the end of the month she was pointing out situations where someone had courage.  I love to watch her learn and grow.

Do you know any other books that are about courage?  I would love to hear more ideas!
