By far, Fall is my favorite time of the year. The changing
leaves, chilly air, scarves, warm drinks and pumpkin everything. But when Fall rolls around so does my dry skin. Dry skin and makeup is not a good combination, but over the past few years I've found some amazing products that are
perfect to use as the weather changes. These products I'm about to talk about
are great for use during the summer as well I just especially love them in the
colder months.
Before the makeup even begins I use a good moisturizer
both morning and night. The best thing I've found that works wonders on my skin
is Josie Maran Light Argan Oil. You can use this to moisturize basically
anything. I love mixing a couple drops in to my lotion for when I get out of
the shower!
Garnier BB cream. I use the one that is for combination to oily
skin and a plus is that it has sunscreen so this offers a little protection.
This stuff is seriously the bomb. I don't even feel like I have makeup on when
I wear this. It gives my skin a nice even look and doesn't cling to any dry
patches.
I always love a little color on the checks. Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee is great for drier months. This is infused with
coconut water and argan oil for hydration and leaves a nice stain that
lasts all day. Another cheek product that I absolutely love is Rockateur by
Benefit cosmetics. While this doesn't have any moisturizing or hydrating
benefits I absolutely love the color!
I have always suffered from dry lips year round so chap stick is always a must. I love Nivea A Kiss of Milk and Honey. This smells really good and hydrates! I always put this on as I am getting ready in the morning. I will either just keep that on alone or I will layer another lip product over it!
Lastly is a lip brush by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics has been one of my obsessions lately but applying it directly to my
lips doesn't always work so well when they are a little dry. This lip brush
helps to apply color smoothly, evenly and I don't get the lip product sticking
to dry parts on my lips.
I hope you all enjoyed reading about my fall favorites!
