Jamberry Nails-March 2015

I love Jamberry Nails because the maintenance is so much better than painting my nails and the cost is so much better than going to a salon.  My fingers last 2 weeks and my toes last about a month and a half.  I love the maintenance on them.

My January 2015 Nails

I wanted to pop on here and let you know that I am still here.  I am still missing you guys very much. I wish I had more time and energy to write.  I have a few blog posts almost ready to post but we have been so sick in our house that I have been trying to get better and get my family better.

Spice up your neutral nails-polka dot style

As I have been sharing ways to spice up neutral nails, I have been spicing them up with things I love. It was books last month and this month it is polka dots.  I LOVE POLKA DOTS!  These nails are super simple and quick to do.  Lets break it down into simple steps.

Spice up your neutral nails-Book Style

Remember this post last month?  It is known that I love neutral nails.  I like them plain, but I also like to spice them up a bit.  Since I am a book person I decided to try transferring words from the newspaper to my nails.  It is really easy.

I could not get the words to be really dark, but I liked the subtlety of it!

Steps:
  1. Paint your nails a neutral color and let dry.  I used Essie Marshmallow.
  2. Cut up sections of newspaper pages big enough to cover your nail.
  3. Dip and hold your nail is rubbing alcohol for 10 seconds.  You want your nail to be soaked.
  4. Immediately wrap your nail with the newspaper clippings.  You do not need to keep the clippings on the nail for a certain amount of time, but press long and hard enough to make sure you press down all areas of the nail.
  5. Remove carefully from you nail and it will transfer.
Such a fun and subtle way to spice up your nails.  Try it yourself and let me know what you think!

Neutral Nail Color

Hello!  Who doesn't like a neutral nail color?  Everyone does, because you can do different techniques to make them more exciting or you can paint the color on your pretty fingernails and call it good!  I found "Marshmallow" by Essie.  It is a great color.  In the coming months I will do different posts on how you can use it differently.  I wore it plain this last week, but I like to spice things up sometimes.  Keep on the look out for the coming posts!  Happy Friday!!!!

Jamberry Nails Review

Have you every heard of Jamberry Nails?  I bought some nail wraps from a party YEARS ago and for some reason or another I never used them.  Why did I buy something and then not use it right away?  Good question!  I am trying to figure that one out myself.
