The perfect lip

This post is written by my amazing beauty contributor, Danielle!

I always feel like I am on the hunt for the perfect lip product.  Something that will last, give me just the right amount of color, provides hydration and most of all effortless to apply. After searching high and low I can now say I have found that perfect lip product that suits all my needs and wants.

I found these little gems not too long ago and have been obsessed with them since. The formula really is fantastic, they are loaded with mango and shea butters which leaves your lips looking and feeling soft and healthy. While these are "balms"  you still get decent pigmentation along with the hydration of an actual lip balm.  The color is very easily buildable so you really can choose if you want the light wash of color you typically get with a balm or a more opaque look of a lipstick. They also give a nice glossy finish.

They have no scent to them which is a big plus for a lot of people. While I am more partial to scented lip products, it is better to have no scent than the funky mint scent that a lot of  similar products from other brands have.

The Clinique chubby stick moisturizing lip colour balm does comes in a pencil/crayon like form that you twist up to get product so a pencil sharpener is not needed.  Which in my opinion is fantastic, because who really wants to worry about carrying a pencil sharpener around? In the morning before work I will apply one of these , throw it in my bag and head out the door. It will usually last about 3 -4 hours on me so by the time lunch rolls around I just reapply on my way back to my desk after eating. No mirror needed! I am a little embarrassed to say I have collected quite a few of the colors. But hey, a girl needs choices right?
So after this long but hopefully informative and entertaining review I hope a few of you go take a look at these and fall head over heels for them like I have!

Currently they come in 16 shades and retail for $17.00. They can be found at most department stores, Sephora, and Clinique.
