Our big secret

big sister

We have been keeping a secret for a little while.  I think it is time to tell you all.  Our little princess is quite excited!

So this is my big announcement and this is also much of the reason I haven't been around as much.  I am so very sick.  Pregnancy is not that easy on me.  I was hoping it would be different this time around, but it hasn't been.

I am sick from morning until night and I find little relief in between.  Luckily, I have good days.  So that is what helps me along.  If any of you have had this problem then please chime in.  I like to know that I am not the only whimp out there.

The other hard part I believe is that I have a child to take care of for this pregnancy.  When I was pregnant with my daughter I could take breaks whenever I wanted or sleep as long as I wanted.  However, when you have a little person to take care of that isn't always possible.

Oh and here are the details.  I am 16 weeks along.  My due date is 8/27/15.  Same birthday month as mine.  I am not sure how I am going to manage being huge and pregnant during the heat of the Summer (any tips would be great), but I am ready and excited for it.

So please bear with me.  I am hoping the sickness gets better.  It never did with my daughter (I was sick the whole pregnancy), but I can always hope right?   I am really trying to give this blog all the love and attention that it needs.  Please keep emailing me your questions and any posts you would like to see on the blog.

When we find out the gender of the baby I will post pictures for sure!

Awww, congratulations!! How exciting for your little girl, too! I'm expecting too (21 weeks along) and my daughter can't wait for the baby to get here. I was sick up to 13-14 weeks and it was all day too. Not fun at all. Peppermint candy really helped me ease the sick nauseous feeling that would really hit a high note if I got hungry. I also tried to eat small snacks/meals every couple hours to avoid the overly nauseous feeling. This was so different for me because I had no sickness with my first. I hope yours eases soon :)
