Earlier this year we were trying to decide where we were going to take our family vacation this year. We were really wanting to go to Disneyland, but we ran into two problems. #1 was that we are trying to be frugal so we can get completely out of debt. #2 was that traveling with my sweet baby stresses me out.
Unfortunately, #2 outweighed everything. Let me vent to you for a bit. I don't want to fly with her because I am not a laid back type of person. So if she was fussy on the plane I would be a stress case. Then we thought about driving, but she has a bit of a flat head and we are working on correcting it...laying in a car seat most of the day is not a way to fix a flat head.
However, #1 is no longer a problem. I came across the most amazing book to help keep me on budget when visiting Disneyland. Disneyland On Any Budget: Money Saving Tips from The Happiest Blog on Earth is a fantastic book. Jessica Sanders, the author, does such a great job at going over every single expense you would ever encounter at Disneyland.

Every category of saving she explains all the ways to save. Then she adds a personal aspect to the section by sharing a success story or a nightmare story from other people. Then to end each section she does a recap. She actually takes all of the category's main points and puts them in a bullet point list. It is perfection.
This book has the best layout. The layout makes it very easy to read and when looking for a specific point it is easy to find again, because of the layout. I am telling you that you need to get it right now!
I will be going to Disneyland in 2017 and I plan on saving this year to get ready to go. I will be using the tips from the "Save for Disneyland" section. I can't wait to take my girls there. Disneyland is so magical and I can only imagine how it will be for my "princess loving" princess (my daughter) to experience it, along with my babe that is so curious about everything.
