Organization has a direct affect on happiness

I know some of you are rolling your eyes at the title and saying, "Yeah maybe for you, but I do not need to be organized to be happy."  That might be the case, but I can tell you that everyone likes order.

If your house is more orderly then you might not misplace your keys as much.  You might be able to find your favorite shirt when you are looking for it.  When things are de-cluttered and more organized then everything can function better.

This was one of my goals for January.  I did this, because (I know you have heard it a million times it seems, but bear with me) I am focusing on pulling up my energy.  When my house is a mess it sucks the energy right out of me.

Not only do I HATE my house being cluttered, but I spend much of my energy looking for items because they are buried under the mountain of mess in my house.  Therefore if I take care of the mountains then I spend a lot less energy running around looking for one little thing.

I have been doing pretty good.  Again, we were really sick so the first of this month has been rough, but I am un-burying our house and it is already feeling so much better.  The first thing that I had to do was put away all my Christmas decor.

While I was doing that I decided to label the Christmas boxes with the items that are in each box.  I also made it a point to get rid of one box of Christmas decorations.  It was too overwhelming this year and so I thought this was best.  I actually did it and I feel better.

Now I am in the process of labeling all my other boxes.  I designed them and printed them for myself so I decided to share them with you as well.  I am big into labeling.  That way everything has a place. It makes it easier to find things and this has been on my to-do list for years.  I decided now was a good time since it was a goal of mine for January.

I have made garage, laundry room, and closet organization labels.  I hope you find them helpful.  I also couldn't stop there and I made some printables for the laundry room.  I love having things to brighten up my laundry room so I thought it would be a great bonus.

Organize your closets, garage, and laundry room by using these free printable storage labels.

If you are reading this then I am sure you want to get more organized.  I found something that is a life saver, game changer, and all around amazing! I am excited to tell you about the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle!  This is an amazing price ($29.97) for more resources to help you in all aspects of keeping a home than you would ever need!  The price is phenomenal.  It cannot be beat.  I don't buy things too often (I am a budget stickler).  However, this is worth it.  It won't break the bank and you will benefit from it on so many levels.

Are you ready for your free printables?!  Let's start organizing!
