I received two free board books from BabyLit in exchange for writing a review on the blog. Although this post is sponsored, all my opinions are my own.
I am so excited for this post today! I am sure if you have been around my social media or been a reader on my blog since the beginning then you have heard about my love for BabyLit books. I bought Hannelore's first BabyLit books for her first Easter. Her first BabyLit books were Jane Eyre and Alice and Wonderland. She immediately loved them (and so did her mom). Alice and Wonderland is a color primer. She loved all the colors! Jane Eyre is a numbers primer. Although she couldn't count when she was as young in the picture below, she will basically read Jane Eyre herself and count on each page now.
I am a HUGE supporter of reading bedtime stories with your little ones. So these books have became our favorites at bedtime. Hannelore got 3 more BabyLit books for Christmas 2013 (Romeo & Juliet, Sense & Sensibility, and Pride & Prejudice).
We have been adding to our collection ever since. I kept buying them until I had them all. Below is a video of Hannelore "reading" Huckleberry Finn. She has been "reading" these books since she was little.
Recently two books were added to the BabyLit library and I knew I had to have them. They are The Secret Garden (Flower Primer) and Don Quixote (Spanish Primer).
Don Quixote is such a fun book. I am TERRIBLE at Spanish so this book is for me. Hannelore was laughing at me as I tried to pronounce the Spanish words. I give her 2 months and she will probably be reading this book better than me.
The Secret Garden is so cute! All about flowers and so with flowers comes color. I absolutely love reading with my daughter. When we read these books it is so magical because they are classics in simpler form. It is perfection.
All BabyLit books are so colorful. The pictures are captivating and so cute. The durability of these books is phenomenal. We read them all the time and you can barely tell because they look brand new.
Before I get to the amazing giveaway I have to tell you about the the BabyLit Warehouse sale. If you are in in Utah you will not want to miss this! They are holding a damaged book warehouse sale on Friday, May 15th from 12-8 PM. All the books there have been returned or are damaged in some way. The books will be around $3-$5 each. That means they are 50% or more off the regular price. Since Don Quixote and The Secret Garden are so new they probably won't have any returned at this point, but you can stock up on all the other books.
Now to the amazing giveaway. BabyLit has offered to give one of your fantastic readers 2 books of your choice! I am so excited for this giveaway and I am not even the one winning! See how to enter below! Good Luck! Winner will be notified by email within 24 hours of the giveaway ending.
