Mother's Day 2015 |
I hope all of you mothers had a wonderful Mother's Day. I wanted this post to go live on Monday, but I gave myself Mother's Day off. I did not do a thing when it came to work or my blog. I relaxed and enjoyed time with my family. Then on Monday I was going to finish this post, but I got a migraine that is beyond description on Monday. Since the migraine was so bad it lingered into Tuesday and then Wednesday I worked all day. So here it is Thursday and I am finally getting this post up. Such is life right?!

Even though it is Thursday I still hope you had a fantastic Mother's Day. As moms we can have a hard time taking a day to just sit back and relax and to take in all the praise. However, you deserve it. Being a mom is one of the hardest, if not the hardest, jobs you will do in your lifetime. Once you become a mom you never stop. Your fears become so big at times that you feel you might crumble under the pressure. You never stop worrying about your kids. You do everything in your power to help them succeed in life.
All my siblings with my mom and grand kids. Even though my mom only has one kid at home now she still worries daily about each of us. |
You are a cook, nurse, taxi driver, therapist, maid, tutor, teacher, party planner, hairstylist, and even a detective at times. I am sure there are many more roles that moms play on a daily basis, but the list is long either way. It can be exhausting, but it is the most rewarding job out there. So if you are tired. I am too (along with most moms). If you feel like you are failing, I am right there with you some times. Don't give up. You are the best mom and your kids need you. And you need your kids believe it or not.
I haven't taken a belly picture since I have been pregnant. 24 weeks is not too late to start, right? I can't wait to meet this little girl in a few months! |
So make sure to take a break. Make sure to relax at times. Make sure to take the praise on Mother's Day because once again....You deserve it. If you didn't do this on this Mother's Day then there is always next year to start!
