Looking for a make up gift for a friend? Sometimes it can be a little tricky finding the right thing to give them but I have put together a list of what I think are great ideas that will hopefully be of some help !
For the friend who loves trying different items from one brand a great option is Benefit Cosmetics. They have several different sets to chose from, all of which contain minis of liquid highlight, liquid cheek/lip tint, lip gloss, blush, and a blush brush. These sets are great because you get several different products to try at a reasonable price. Benefit Cosmetics makes quality make-up products that I personally have never been disappointed with. The blushes that come in these kits are some of my favorite blushes out there! These fun sets retail for $28!
For the friend who loves multi purpose products a great pick is Josie Maran (Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil Duo). As the product name stated these can be used on both to lips and the cheeks. The great thing about these are that they give a good flush of color while leaving the skin dewy, moisturized and healthy. This mini duo consists of Timeless Coral and Everlasting Honey. These are also 97% natural and are petroleum free so they are also a great choice for friends who go for more natural products. This set retails for $16.
For the friend who likes eye products the Urban Decay After Dark Travel Pencil set is a great option. This contains 3 minis of the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Voodoo (bright metallic purple), Zero (zealous black), Corrupt (dark metallic reddish brown shimmer w/silver micro-sparkle). The eyeliner pencils from Urban Decay are the smoothest eyeliner I have found yet! These are super easy to work with whether your a pro or beginner. This is a great way for a friend to try multiple colors at once. This set retails for $19.
Have a friend who loves trying different lip products? Sephora Give Me Some Lip is your answer. In this set you get 5 different minis and 1 full sized product to try. This set has an Urban Decay Mini Naked Revolution Lipstick, Nars Deluxe Orgasm Lip Gloss, Buxom Mini Full On Lip Cream in White Russian, Marc Jacobs Mini Lust for Lacquer in Kissability, Deluxe Bite High Pigment Lip Pencil in Meritage and a Full-size Smashbox Be Legendary Gloss in Pout. One more great option that is more personal and fun is creating your own little kit of your favorite products. Sharing what you love with a friend is always fun and memorable. I'd suggest getting a couple of your most tried and true favorites then wrapping then up and putting them in a cute new make up bag. One place I will always suggest looking when searching for a cute new make up bag is Target. They definitely have a wide selection of great quality options!
