Shambray: Floral or Patterned Dresses (Minimalist Wardrobe List: A 36 Piece Wardrobe)

It took me awhile to get on the floral wagon. I have been on it for quite a few years, but I remember when they became popular I was a bit hesitant. I only have 2 dresses in my whole wardrobe! This can be a bit difficult.

So when it comes to floral or patterned dresses I have to be very picky. I need it to be beautiful, but I also need it to be versatile. One year I had a striped dress, but this year I went with a floral dress. If you have a small wardrobe know that you can swap them out when you get tired of one of them. I tend to wear one for at least a year. If I love it more then I continue wearing it.

Ways to wear floral or patterned dresses

Honestly, if the dress is not too fancy I wear these often. I love wearing dresses and skirts in the Summer. So I will wear them during the week (even to an event as casual as going to the park) and also to church or more formal occasions. I have worn all different shoes with my dresses. Again, because I make sure that it can be multi-functional. I have worn sneakers, boots, booties, high heels, flats, sandals, and flip flops.
