Cute Pictures
We both liked the illustrations in this book. Hannelore thought the little wolf was super cute, but it stressed her out that he was telling lies so much. He is kind of naughty just like, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf".
My Favorite
This book seriously is so good! It is about spreading rumors and honestly the ending really helps kids understand how to go about fixing rumors that they have spread and the impact it has on everyone. It is really cute!
Hannelore's Favorites
She couldn't pick one. I tried to get her to, but she said she likes both of them. So here are two that she really likes.
The Berenstain Bears and the Truth
This one is really entertaining for kids. I like it because in the end their mom was not upset about her lamp, but upset that her cubs weren't being honest. Then when they told the truth she was so proud of them. I love the quote, "trust is one thing you can't put back together once it is broken."
This one is really cute and I can see why she likes it. It is a spin from the classic "The Boy Who Cried Wolf".
The OVERALL Favorite
Both Hannelore and I loved this one. I think Hannelore loved seeing all the characters from different stories and I liked that too. I also liked how it shows how you can try to make your mistakes right in the end. This is one we are adding to our library this year! So excited!
There were three that we left off that weren't bad in anyway, but we didn't like them AS MUCH. Do you have a favorite book about honesty that isn't on the list? I love suggestions!
