FOOD:  I usually go with themed food, but this year I told myself no.  I had to do easy for my own sanity.  Seriously this food was so simple and it still looked great even if it wasn't themed.  We had pasta salad, vegetables that were in their own cups with ranch on the bottom of the cup, fruit skewers, and rolled up sandwiches (both Peanut Butter and Jelly and turkey).  Then for the drink we had lemonade.  So simple.  To add a little more to the food my amazing friend from from The Quiet Grove made the amazing printables to add to the straws and fruit skewers.  If you want some for yourself then visit her page for your free printables!

MAIN TABLE: The main table is the focal point and honestly I kind of had two main tables, because the food was on one and the cake and cupcakes were on the other.  I described the decorations before.  I had decorations spread throughout these two tables to help create more drama than just food and drinks.  I also varied heights by having a drink dispenser, cake stand, and cupcake stands.  Setting out the cups with the straw already in them added a little more drama as well.  Anything to help the presentation look good.

MUSIC:  My husband has the subscription through Google Play so we can play basically any song we could think of.  We just stuck with the Soundtrack to Alice in Wonderland.

PARTY FAVORS: The party favors were super cute and fun.  I asked my friends if they were throwing away any baby food glass jars and I had a friend that donated them ALL to me.  So that part was free.  After washing them and drying them I spray painted the lids to match the different party colors.  Then I filled them all with Birthday Cake Teddy Grahams.  I like to give party favors that the birthday girl likes.  So Teddy Grahams work!  Lastly, I adhered another fantastic printable from Julia from The Quiet Grove to the top of the lids.  Once again you can get these printables for free from her site!

Honestly, this party was my least stressful party I have ever put together.  I picked my battles because I didn't want it to make me too anxious and it still turned out wonderful.  I have to share with you the pictures of the massive rain storm that came during the party (see below).  Although part of me wanted to cry because I didn't get the pictures that I had desperately wanted of the whole party put together.  I also didn't love that it ruined some of the decor.  However, it is a story we can tell.  It's all about the memories.
