No makeup? Try it!

On Monday a great group of bloggers announced a beauty movement.  Megan from Brassy Apple wanted to push this movement along by inviting women from all over to share pictures of what they look like without makeup.  I decided to join in.  This movement will make my husband so happy because he HATES makeup!  He hates that women feel like they have to wear makeup to feel pretty.  He LOVES me without an ounce of makeup on.  He tells me that nearly everyday.  I love this movement and I hope it can make a big impact.  I love women to love themselves not just the women they see with makeup on.  The song that inspired this movement is Try by Colbie Caillat.  It is a beautiful song and it has an awesome and powerful music video too.  I hope this movement and the song will help women feel more confident with themselves.


A little more than a month ago as part of my #shambrayrealitycheck posts I posted a picture of me without makeup.  I was scared to post this because it was a rough day.  I was running on little sleep and my tired eyes showed that, but I took a picture because I wanted other women to see me without makeup on.  If you know me personally then more than likely you have seen me without makeup.  I do that often because my husband loves me without makeup on.  Although I have a hard time with it at times I love that he loves me in my most natural setting.  He doesn't want my blemishes hidden.  He wants to see ME.  As he has built up my confidence I have felt better about myself and I have realized that a smile and confidence is what we need to look beautiful.  So please don't worry about the makeup.  Love YOU for YOU. Be confident with yourself and smile!

Although I am not wearing a ton of makeup it is still there.
