It's my friend's birthday and I have NO idea what to get her. Panic strikes because she always seems to get me the best gifts and I can't even think of one thing to get her. She has been my friend for 12+ years. Shouldn't I know what to get her?
Does this sound familiar to you? If it does then I hope it isn't causing you too much anxiety. Friends are an important part of my life. When I give them a gift I want them to know that I was thinking about them specifically when I bought that gift. I don't want it to appear like a second thought. I want them to feel special, because if they are my friend then they are special to me.
Also, I am a HUGE birthday person. I think birthdays are an important date. Do you want to hear something off topic, but still about birthdays? I think that every company should pay their employees to have their birthday off. So if I ever own a company. I can promise you that this will be the case. PTO on your birthday! Ok. Back to the topic at hand. Since birthdays are a big deal for me then I want to make sure that my friends get the best gift that I can give. Obviously within reason and budget.
