14.  Take a day off (or a week):  Sometimes you need a break from work.  I do not think being lazy is the key; I think that we all need a break and it might help our productivity if we get away for a bit.  We might see the small things in life that we take for granted because we are always going 100 miles an hour every single day.  

15. Take a night off:  If you are a mom or dad then nights off are a must.  They help you be a man/woman and do what YOU want to do.  They help you connect with friends, connect with old hobbies, or both.  This will help boast happiness because if you take a time out for yourself you will be a better parent guaranteed. 

16.  Service:  Service has proven to help the participant's happiness.  It is hard to have a hard face and an ungrateful attitude when you are helping others that are less fortunate than you.  It does not have to be huge, but bringing a meal to someone who does not feel well will make their day and help them feel loved and cared for.  In return you will feel good about doing it.  

17.  Work hard at something you love:  Back to the work thing.  Work and creating are some of the best ways to achieve happiness.  If you like golfing then work hard at perfecting your swing, your drive, your putting, etc.  If you love to craft then pick a craft that you have wanted to do for awhile and do it.  Work hard and take pride in your work.  Although working hard at something that you love is much easier, you can also work at things you do not love.  For instance, you might not love working on your house when something breaks, but when you work hard to fix it the satisfaction of fixing it will raise your happiness.
