5.  Pinch the center of the mesh.

6.  Attach the mesh "rolls" to the outside circle.  Attach one roll to each chenille stem on the outside.

7.  Take the burlap squares and fold the pieces of opposite corners into the middle.

8.  Then pinch in each side of the burlap toward the middle.

9.  Attach the burlap with the chenille stems.  You will need to undo the stems and place them directly on top of the mesh.  You will put 2 burlap "petals" to each chenille stem.  The outside circle will be the deco mesh on bottom then 2 burlap pieces on top.  The inside circle will only have 2 burlap pieces per chenille stem.

10.  As you put the petals on the wreath form point them to the outside of the wreath.  They will stay better as you add more petals.

11.  As you finish with each of the chenille stems you will tuck behind all the petals to hide them.  Next you will cut the deco mesh "leaves" to barely be longer than the petals.

12.  Next you will take either a Styrofoam or Styrosmooth ball and cut it in half.  Then attach the ball to the chenille cross bar with greening pins.

13.  The next step is to attach the natural colored burlap to the middle part.  You will do this by cutting 6x6 inch squares.  You will need anywhere from 15-20 squares.  Then you will make a "bubble".  You do this by pulling each of the corners in together.

14.  Then you attach the burlap "bubble" to the ball using greening pins.  It is best to attach them at the bottom where all the corners meet.

15.  Continue to do this until you achieve the look you want.

The deco mesh is 12 inches wide. I bought 2.5 yards of the burlap and cut it into 10 inch squares.

Every time I make this I always try Hobby Lobby first, but they don't always have it in stock. So the other place I have bought it from is Amazon. If you go to the previous page on this post there is a supply list and yellow burlap is a link that will take you to the exact one that I order.

I'm in the middle of doing this wreath and I think it is very hard to do especially the center the pins do not hold it they come unfrindged and I'm getting very frustrated, any ideas.

Well I just finished it and it looks nothing like yours I thought it was very difficult, but might try another one have all the supplies.

Shoot! I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner! I wish I lived next door to you so I could see what you are talking about. If you want to send me pictures of the problem area I would love to help. I'm not sure I understand so maybe that would help. Or if you need me to do a Google Hangouts or something we could do that. Let me know!

Do you know how to make the center with more petals instead of a plain Center? Like a poinsettia? Thanks!

Hi! I am working on making this! When you do the 2 petals on top of each other, am I scrunching the petals individually and placing one and then the other on the pipe cleaners or am I bunching the 2 layers together and then placing them on the pip cleaner? I bought the burlap fabric and it seems really thick to bunch the 2 layers together. So I am a bit confused! Please help :)
